Poker rules
Poker Taco deals No-Limit Texas Hold'em and Pot-Limit Omaha. In Hold'em each player gets two hole cards and five community cards are dealt to the board. The best five-card hand made from any seven wins.
How a hand goes
- Blinds. The two players left of the button post the small and big blind.
- Preflop. Two cards each, action starts left of the big blind.
- Flop โ three community cards, turn โ the fourth, river โ the fifth. A betting round follows each street.
- Showdown. Remaining players show, the best hand takes the pot. Ties split it.
Actions
Fold โ give up the hand. Check โ pass when there is no bet. Call โ match the bet. Bet/Raise โ wager or increase; the minimum raise equals the previous raise. All-in โ commit all chips; side pots are created.
Omaha (PLO)
In Omaha each player gets four cards and the final hand uses exactly two of them and exactly three board cards. The maximum bet is the size of the pot (Pot-Limit).
